Dua Stalk Gandum

Two mature wheat heads rise on slender stalks, their long awns extending outward like fine rays at the close of the growing season. The simple composition focuses attention on the grain itself, a biblical symbol of provision, fruitfulness, judgment, and resurrection life. In Scripture, wheat is gathered into the barn, separated from chaff, and used to speak of the Word bearing fruit in receptive hearts. Jesus also uses the grain of wheat as a sign of life coming through death: the seed falls into the earth, dies, and bears much fruit. This artwork serves well for teaching on harvest, sowing and reaping, spiritual growth, stewardship, communion bread symbolism, and the parables of the kingdom.
