Even their servants lorded it over the people. But I did not do so, because of the fear of God.15 “then the man shall bring his wife to the priest and bring the offering required of her, a tenth of an ephah of barley flour. He shall pour no oil on it and put no frankincense on it, for it is a grain offering of jealousy, a grain offering of remembrance, bringing iniquity to remembrance.15 Drink water from your own cistern, flowing water from your own well.15 But the free gift is not like the trespass. For if many died through one man’s trespass, much more have the grace of God and the free gift by the grace of that one man Jesus Christ abounded for many.15 His legs are alabaster columns, set on bases of gold. Now if you can read the writing and make known to me its interpretation, you shall be clothed with purple and have a chain of gold around your neck and shall be the third ruler in the kingdom.”16 “‘Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God commanded you, that your days may be long, and that it may go well with you in the land that the Lord your God is giving you.16 This also is a grievous evil: just as he came, so shall he go, and what gain is there to him who toils for the wind?16 making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.16 “No straw is given to your servants, yet they say to us, ‘Make bricks!’ And behold, your servants are beaten; but the fault is in your own people.”16 “when I send against you the deadly arrows of famine, arrows for destruction, which I will send to destroy you, and when I bring more and more famine upon you and break your supply of bread.16 “‘Then this Sheshbazzar came and laid the foundations of the house of God that is in Jerusalem, and from that time until now it has been in building, and it is not yet finished.’16 But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.16 Mahalalel lived after he fathered Jared 830 years and had other sons and daughters.16 But the Lord of hosts is exalted in justice, and the Holy God shows himself holy in righteousness.16 Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. And the priest shall make atonement for him with the ram of the guilt offering, and he shall be forgiven.16 But he would withdraw to desolate places and pray.16 And those who had seen it described to them what had happened to the demon-possessed man and to the pigs.16 “In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.16 I also persevered in the work on this wall, and we acquired no land, and all my servants were gathered there for the work.16 “And the priest shall bring her near and set her before the Lord.16 Should your springs be scattered abroad, streams of water in the streets?16 And the free gift is not like the result of that one man’s sin. For the judgment following one trespass brought condemnation, but the free gift following many trespasses brought justification.16 His mouth is most sweet, and he is altogether desirable.
