Penawaran untuk Sanctuary

Moses receives willing gifts from the Israelites for the building of the sanctuary in the wilderness. Men, women, and children gather before the tent encampment, bringing jewelry, fabric, and precious materials as freewill offerings for the work of the Tabernacle. The elder’s outstretched hand and the basket at his feet emphasize that the dwelling place of God among His people was supplied through obedient generosity, not forced tribute.

The scene reflects the account in Exodus 35, where Moses calls Israel to bring gold, silver, bronze, fine linen, yarn, skins, wood, oil, spices, and stones for the holy place. The passage teaches that worship involves consecrated gifts and willing hearts, as the people respond to God’s presence by contributing what He has entrusted to them.
