Ruins Ephesus

Weathered stone paving and broken steps mark the ancient ruins of Ephesus, a city deeply connected with the early Christian church. The worn marble slabs and exposed foundations evoke the public streets where merchants, travelers, and worshipers once passed through one of the great cities of Asia Minor. In the New Testament, Ephesus became a major center of ministry through Paul, whose preaching confronted idolatry and strengthened the disciples there. The city also received one of the seven messages in Revelation, calling the church to remember its first love. This archaeological view is well suited for teaching on Acts, the Epistle to the Ephesians, the seven churches of Revelation, biblical geography, and the historical setting of the early church.
